  The products which derive from the carob are natural, without addition of dyes, rich in natural sugars.
They can mainly be used in meal or in syrup, but they are also present in products such as creams, spirits, sweets, pralines, mustard, almond pastry.
 
 
   
     
  The italian company “CioKarrua s.r.l” is based in Modica, in the province of Ragusa (south - east of Sicily). The “Iblea” area is appreciated as an optimal area in the growing of carob tree and thanks to of this it is considered...  
     
   
   
     
  The origins of carob are not completely clear. Many scholars assert that carob tree (the locust) originates from Asia Minor or from Syria; others think that it is from Egypt and others think that carob is from Sicily.
